The Hamptons is an area on the east end of Long Island, New York, known for its incredible natural beauty, outdoor activities, cultural institutions and rich history. The Hamptons start at just about 90 minutes east of New York City, in historic Remsenburg, running all the way east on the south fork of Long Island through Westhampton, Southampton and East Hampton. From East Hampton, it is a short drive to the very end of the island to the lovely Village of Montauk.
It is easy to get to the Hamptons from NYC by car, train or bus. There are numerous New York area airports that will also get you to our area quickly.
